BONUS POINT CHANGES: There will be new law variations for this year's expanded Super Rugby competition, with one of them that the 4-try bonus point is a thing of the past. Teams will now be awarded bonus points for being 3 tries AHEAD of the opposition.
So for example, 3 tries to 0 = bonus point, 4 tries to 1 = bonus point, and so on.
"By implementing this change, we expect to see more attacking and competitive rugby as teams will be asked to keep their foot down for the full 80 in order to claim the try-scoring bonus point, which we have seen used to great effect in France over the past few years," said SANZAAR CEO Andy Marinos.
You will also notice that SANZAR has officially changed names to SANZAAR, to formally recognise Argentina's inclusion in both Super Rugby, and the Rugby Championship.
"As the top four international teams from RWC 2015 look to further grow and establish Southern Hemisphere as a dominant force in world rugby, we are all very excited to see what lies in store in the coming year," Marinos concluded.
Super Rugby kicks off on Friday February 26
